On July 22, an armored vehicle of the Syrian General Intelligence Directorate (GID) was struck with an improvised explosive device in the northern Daraa countryside.
According to local sources, the incident took place near a checkpoint of government forces, east of the town of Jasim.

Opposition sources claimed that several GID officers were killed or injured in the attack. However, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights claimed that no losses had been confirmed so far.
This was the second attack on Syrian intelligence personnel in Daraa over the past 24 hours. Late on July 21, an explosion in the western part of Daraa city killed two officers of the Military Intelligence Directorate and injured another.
No group has claimed responsibility for eather of these two attacks. ISIS is the main suspect. Nevertheless, other terrorist groups or even foreign agencies, like the Israeli intelligence, may be responsible for these attacks.
The repeated attacks in Daraa take a toll on Syrian government forces and local fighters. Despite this, too little is being done to improve security in the governorate.
Good, time to rearm the rebels against the SAA like we used to do. Bring in more Iranians, they will need them when we explode on Damescus.

Yes Free Man, after their defense treaty with the mullahs many Israelis were mad at Syria for letting Iran use their land against us. I don’t know what’s going on at the political leadership right now, but our Intelligence miniser said very clearly that regarding that deal, Iran will pay a heavier toll in Syria and Syrians themselves might be targeted too.
As you have already noticed, I judge things by deeds not by words. Israel’s policy in recent years consists of two parts: 1. During a war, Israel tries to inflict maximum damage on its enemies. Therefore, Israel’s enemies are avoiding a full-scale war against it. 2. Between wars Israel tries to cause material damage with minimum of casualties. In order not to give the other side an incentive to react forcefully. So I wonder if samething has changed and Israel is pushing for war. Israel strikes hard on various fronts and it seems to be waiting for the other side’s mistake in order to respond with a massive force against the Iranian forces / Hezbollah .
I don’t know if there is a bigger plan, I can only tell you that from my prespective, I was told to be ready for an operation more than once in the last 2 months. Does it mean something big come? might be, in the last strike we destroyed Iranian AD systems that were a threat to our freedom of activity. I think it is mostly up to Iran and Hezbollah, if they decide to retaliate with rockets for example, it can escalate into an all our war which I can tell you we are very ready (on the ground). Let’s see how it goes.
I have a feeling that a war is on the horizon due to political reasons in Israel / USA combined with Iran’s current weakness and the Russia’s attitude towards the Iranian forces.
