The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced on March 3 that the Iraqi Air Force (IQAF) had carried out airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in northern Iraq.

IQAF F-16 warplanes targeted a network of ISIS hideouts located between northern Saladin and the southern parts of Kirkuk with ten munitions. A video of the strikes was released.

According to Maj. Gen. Yehia Rasool, a spokesman for the Iraqi Commander-in-Chief, seven terrorists were killed in the airstrikes.

ISIS cells in northern and western Iraq carried out several deadly attacks recently. On February 28, 14 service members of the Iraqi military and pro-government tribal forces were killed or wounded in the western province of al-Anbar in a car bomb attack prepared by the terrorist group.

The current tensions in Iraq between the US-led coalition and Iranian-allied factions is playing in favor of ISIS, whose cells are getting bolder.

The northern and western regions of Iraq will not likely be safe any time soon. The ISIS influence in these regions continues to grow, despite government efforts.

What strange combinations, where there are Kurds there always is also Isis and where there is NATO there are ever all types of known terrorism, from the Islamist to the Nazi-fascist one.

NATO is too gutless to fight anyone than can hit them back in a meaningful way. NATO will be very cross that their terrorist proxies have been killed.
