I hope it was sabotage from Ukrainian Partisans. Not a technical failure. Because Russian forces also have this weapon.

Joe Bidet Is A Senile Pedo

The Ukrap idiots are almost certainly using them beyond the design spec. in terms of repeated firings in a given time frame. Overheats, jams, kaboom!

newchiche

Ukrap meanwhile have been trained by NATO. And look lll https://vk.com/anonimax?z=video634116626_456239979%2F54ea534bf4be516e59%2Fpl_wall_634116626

He said that he will strike at separatists, but the main separatists are ukros, they separated part of Russia. Donbas militias are unionists actually, because they want to reunite with Russia. So the mortar did the job well.

Hello

I’m amazed at how little you can fire artilary before they are worn out

SnowCatzor

Ukrainian ones were pulled out of storage when the war began, so they had been sitting around without maintenance for a long time. Russian ones have been upgraded recently so they should be fine.

JerryDrakeJr

The design is good, the rest is on the user…

HB_Norica

Any piece of equipment needs trained experienced operators that know the dangers and can recognize when the equipment needs maintenance. You don’t get that from a 2 week training camp on soldiering. I can’t speak for the DPR / LPR but Russia has experienced gunners and enough weapons that they can rotate them out for maintenance without losing tempo.

“Russia is directly controlled by God, and if this is not the case, then it is not clear how it exists at all”

Russia is ruled by God Christopher Minich

“Russia is directly controlled by the Lord God. Otherwise, it is impossible to imagine how this state still exists.” These words were said by the German Munnich, the Russian Field Marshal General.

Minich (MUNICH) Christopher Antonovich (Burchard Christoph) was born in Oldenburg in a family of hereditary engineers, received a thorough education, mastered engineering and drawing arts, mastered Latin and French. In 1700-1720 he participated in a number of military campaigns in Europe. In 1721, at the invitation of the Russian ambassador in Warsaw, G. Dolgorukov, Minikh arrived in Russia to conduct engineering affairs conceived by Peter I. His activities in organizing navigation on the Neva, laying roads, building the Baltic port, and conducting the first bypass Ladoga Canal in 1723-1728 brought him the deep respect of the king. After the accession to the throne of Anna Ioannovna in 1730, Khristofor Antonovich was granted the President of the Military Collegium, Field Marshal General and Minich put army finances in order, founded hospitals for the wounded and garrison schools with the troops. Many of his innovations for the Russian army have become cardinal and Russia is reaping the fruits of them almost to this day. With the accession of Elizabeth Petrovna in 1741, on false charges, he was put on trial, sentenced to death for high treason, as well as bribery and embezzlement, but he rejected all the accusations of Minich. On his way to the place of execution, he talked with the officers accompanying him, recalled the war and the readiness to die, which is customary for a military man, but already on the scaffold he heard a new verdict: the execution was replaced by exile to Siberia. There, in the village of Pelym, Minikh spent 20 years, engaged in vegetable growing, taught children, composed various engineering and military projects. In 1762, Peter III returned the 78-year-old Minikh to St. Petersburg, then he was forgiven by Catherine II, swore an oath to her, and became governor general. Under his command, the Russian army conquered Bakhchisarai for the first time, and then he repeatedly advised the queen to start a new war against the Turks for the Crimea, but did not live to see this done – the Crimea was annexed to Russia in 1783.

I dont buy the satanic version which implys Russians are ungodly in regards to faith,as if fgn lol! Lets leave the religion out of this one,no worse woman than a lousy soros/mi6/lgbtq kweero dig?

What proof do you have God does not exist, because nowadays your exiled in damnation along with the rest of ye paganic coptic/askenazi/soros culted fkfests of todays are testament to half truths?

hang on a minute, there is more depth to the truth than meets the eye of the beholder, much more to it than any of your or your fake friends try to speculate without cause and for who soros ;lgbtq?

Make no mistake when something so real needs to be defended it will be done to very last breath of me and nothing nor anyone can ever to anything to ever change that fact (period) and the truth, The recorded history of the Crimean Peninsula, historically known as Tauris, Taurica (Greek: Ταυρική or Ταυρικά), and the Tauric Chersonese (Greek: Χερσόνησος Ταυρική, “Tauric Peninsula”), begins around the 5th century BC when several Greek colonies were established along its coast, the most important of which was Chersonesos near modern day Sevastopol, with Scythians and Tauri in the hinterland to the north. The southern coast gradually consolidated into the Bosporan Kingdom which was annexed by Pontus and then became a client kingdom of Rome (63 BC – 341 AD). The south coast remained Greek in culture for almost two thousand years including under Roman successor states, the Byzantine Empire (341 AD – 1204 AD), the Empire of Trebizond (1204 AD – 1461 AD), and the independent Principality of Theodoro (ended 1475 AD). In the 13th century, some Crimean port cities were controlled by the Venetians and by the Genovese, but the interior was much less stable, enduring a long series of conquests and invasions. In the medieval period, it was partially conquered by Kievan Rus’ whose prince Vladimir the Great was baptised at Sevastopol, which marked the beginning of the Christianization of Kievan Rus’. During the Mongol invasion of Europe, the north and centre of Crimea fell to the Mongol Golden Horde, and in the 1440s the Crimean Khanate formed out of the collapse of the horde but quite rapidly itself became subject to the Ottoman Empire, which also conquered the coastal areas which had kept independent of the Khanate. A major source of prosperity in these times was frequent raids into Russia for slaves.

In 1774, the Ottoman Empire was defeated by Catherine the Great. After two centuries of conflict, the Russian fleet had destroyed the Ottoman navy and the Russian army had inflicted heavy defeats on the Ottoman land forces.

Vladimir the Great was baptised at Sevastopol BEFORE Crimea was conquered by the Turks. It’s not as if Crimea was always Turkish!

V for Victory

Definitively NOT a self destruction. Look to the soldier on the right: he seems to be scared by something just before the 2S7 explodes. Perhaps he heard some missile or bomb nearing?

Ede

To me it looks like he is the one firing the gun…

JerryDrakeJr

That soldier is a gunner… Search for something like “2S7 Pion live fire”. This explosion is most likely the result of overusing that cannon. If each shell went with the maximum charge to achieve the maximum range, and the cannon is 50 years old and for the previous 30 years it was sitting somewhere…one small crack on the chamber that went unnoticed because a regular inspection was not performed every say 100 shells. .. the result has reached YouTube!

V for Victory

Even if so, then why we should bother for a firing accident happened without enemy action?

Wizzy

Why does it look like a counter battery strike?

It looks like the warhead detonated in the breach. The gun overheated and ignited the round or the fuse malfunctioned. It appears to be a full explosion so probably the fuse issue. A heat caused explosion the round usually doesn’t detonate efficiently.

“Malka” is modernized “Peony”, Kiev regime has basic version only. Looks like the barrel was too old, it cracked, because these bastards loves to shell civilians when they can’t hit soldiers. They have no production of own barrels, so they can’t change at least 31 years old metal. Though their own mortars even worse. Read about 120-mm mortar “Hammer”, it killed ~30 hohols during tests, even more were wounded.

Reminds me of Syria where ammunition is often Sabotaged. Only the operators know which Rounds are ok to use. At the same time these guns are old now and the ammunition must be the same. Wouldn’t the explosion be bigger from that shell ?
