Winter is coming to Ukraine, affecting the ongoing battles on different frontlines. Prolonged rains and fog prevent the both sides from active massive operations, mainly because the use of aviation and UAVs was restrained. The soil also turned into a mess.
Ukrainian servicemen share videos from the front demonstrating the challenges they face. US Humvee, Turkish Kirpi armored vehicles, and Soviet BMP-1s are drowning in the mud, not to mention tanks sent from NATO countries.
Russian troops are likely experiencing similar difficulties, but taking into account reports from the front, the Russian military is used to operations in difficult weather conditions. As a result, the Russian army does not stop advance in different directions. However, any large-scaled offensive operations, including in the steppes in the Zaporozhie region are unlikely to begin until the soil is frozen sufficiently.
