Intensive strikes hit the Iranian capital, Tehran, and other parts of the country, on June 15, the third day of Israel’s Operation Rising Lion targeting the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program and offensive capabilities.

Ahead of the strikes, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) issued an unprecedented evacuation warning for Iranian civilians to evacuate areas around weapons factories.

“All individuals currently present or expected to be present in or around military weapons manufacturing facilities and their supporting institutions must immediately evacuate these areas and not return until further notice,” the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman, Col. Avichay Adraee, said in a Persian message on the X social network.

“Being near these facilities puts your life at risk,” he added.

The IDF Persian-language spokesman Master Sgt. Kamal Penhasi issued the same warning on the military’s Persian X account.

Overnight, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) attacked some 80 targets in Tehran, according to the IDF, which said that fuel depots, the Iranian defense ministry headquarters, the “headquarters of the SPND nuclear project,” and other targets related to the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program were hit.

Footage of the strikes on the so-called nuclear project headquarters were released by the IAF, which also shared videos showing some of the recent strikes that targeted Iranian ballistic missile launchers, their crews and a single Matla-ul-fajr radar.

In addition to the strikes announced by the IDF, Iranian media said that Israel attacked a facility affiliated with the Islamic Republic’s defense ministry in the central city of Isfahan.

“One of the centers affiliated with the Ministry of Defense in Isfahan was attacked, and possible damages are under investigation,” the Iranian Students’ News Agency reported, quoting deputy provincial governor Akbar Salehi.

Strikes on the Shiraz Electronics factory in the city of Shiraz, a company that produces radar and electronic equipment for the Iranian military, were also reported.

Separately, Iran arrested on June 15 two individuals it accused of being members of the Mossad spy agency in the northern Alborz province while they were preparing explosives and electronic devices, according to the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported on Sunday.

Iran said that the death toll from the Israeli attack, which began on June 13, has reached 128, with more than 900 other people wounded.

Three Iranian missile strikes hit Israel overnight, killing 10 people and wounding over 200 others. In total, 14 Israelis have been killed since the start of the confrontation, which appears to be just starting.
