On February 17, Iran unveiled the Arman anti-ballistic missile system and the Azarakhsh low-altitude air defense system, which were both made locally.
According to the state-run Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the two systems were unveiled during a ceremony attended by Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani.
“With the entry of new systems into the country’s defense network, the air defense capability of the Islamic Republic of Iran will increase significantly,” IRNA said.
The agency said that the Arman missile system “can simultaneously confront six targets at a distance of 120 to 180 kilometers”, while the Azarakhsh missile system “can identify and destroy targets… up to a range of 50 kilometers with four ready-to-fire missiles”.
Both systems are mobile. While the Arman appears to be using some sort of radar guidance, the Azarakhsh is armed with infrared-guided missiles.
Iran’s Project Meshkat, which publishes information on Iran’s defense industry, released videos showing successful live-fire tests of Amran and Azarakhsh.
Iran has been working nonstop to develop its military industry in response to United States sanctions and Israel’s repeated threats. The country paid special attention to its air-defense capabilities in the last few years, and managed to make several breakthroughs.
The unveiling of the two new Iranian air defense systems came amid heightened tensions with both the U.S. and Israel over the war on the Palestinian Gaza Strip.

get some of these system to lebanon for live-testing on non simulated targets..
again these systems work with other existing systems, alone they wouldn’t do so well. how well is the yanquis/nato air defence systems doing in ukraine? oh wait…

not bad, russian radar tech, a pinch of us patriot modular design, ultimately, we will see them in action soon enough. the smaller anti-drone launcher looks slick, chinese styling, but the interceptors have a nostalgic russian look, with a very smooth launch, and obviously effective on a single target. all the motorheads poo pooing these, would not say no, to test firing either of these systems in yer own backyards… so shhh…

also, the cute one is a short-range aa system mainly for drone and helicopters. the martyr arman is a mid-range air defense system… you know iran made these because they learned from ukraine war.
i wonder what happens to the crops when in every video or image taken these days, the skies a full of chemtrail aerosols. they should be worried about the weapons delivery system being trialed right above them.
