ISIS terrorists are pulling their strongest units to the province of Deir Ezzor preparing for the last stand against the Syrian Army, supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces. ISIS is going to defend their area near the city of Deir Ezzor as government forces push to lift the ISIS siege from it.
“Syrian government forces supported by Russian Aerospace forces are swiftly pushing from three directions towards Deir Ezzor at the moment. The foothold around the city is the last stronghold of terrorists on Syrian soil,” General Sergey Rudskoy, spokesman for the Russian General Staff, said on Monday during a press briefing in Moscow. “The remaining forces are heading there. According to our data, militants from Mosul moved there and the most battle-ready units from Raqqa,” Rudskoy stated.
He also said that despite the withdrawal of the major part of ISIS forces from Raqqa, the “so-called Syrian Democratic Forces, supported by the US and allies” are still unable to capture it after a three-month siege.
Rudskoy added that the recently encircled ISIS-held town of Uqayrabat will likely be liberated in the near future. The Russian general emphasized the role of Syrian General Suheil al-Hassan and the Syrian Arab Army Tiger Forces as well as the Russian Aerospace Forces in the succes in central Syria.
I am sure that the SAA and Russian planners will have a plan to retake Thardah mountain and its environs so as to bolster the defence of the SAA in Deir Ezzor. Perhaps this would be a suitable proving ground for a few dozen of the ‘Mother of all Bombs ‘. :)

I would only wish any thermobarics to be used in Syria against ISIS/AlNusra targets that are free of civilians . Thardah mountain being a prime example.

We don’t need to level the mountain , or cause needless damage to the civilians or the SAA , by the way things are rolling , the top command has a plan , and it will work .
US inventory of MOABs is 15. I’m not sure Russia has a few dozen FOABs to use.

The Americans don’t want to conquer Raqqa quickly on purpose. They are preparing the city for the future Kurdish takeover by exterminating a big part of the Arab civilians. Less people to resist a Kurdish dictatorship.

Ive heard that DeZ contains 10,000 SAA soldiers inside its bubble! Is this true? Are they mainly Republican Guard? Somebody on this site told me this in the comments section and I found it hard to believe yet if true, its great news to open up a can of whoop ass!
Exactly. The forces inside DE City/airport were strengthened over the last week up to 10,000 men. Nearly all Rep. Guard members. This force will be very important for tactical items when the comrades will reach DE City by three side because they keep the back.

SAA claims 5,000 troops in DeZ city. Once Tigers and Republican Guard forces arrive they can come out to help rout the Daeshtards. It will be magnificent, and it will be soon!

How are they reinforced though? Deir Ezzor is encircled and there is no way in. Supplies have been air-dropped in over those 3 years….but not additional men
Abu bukhunal or maaydin will be the real last stand for ISIS if al qaim is liberated in Iraq before those ops happen.
