The Israeli military does not stop massive strikes throughout Lebanon. Devastating attacks are pounding the capital Beirut, Tyre and other areas. The number of civilian casualties is growing. Hezbollah is shelling northern Israel in response.
About a dozen waves of strikes were recorded in Beirut at night. The IDF claimed that the Israeli Air Force attacked the central base of the Hezbollah naval unit, a training center and a test site in Beirut. According to the Israeli military, the targeted military base stored speedboats that were intended to attack Israeli Navy ships, as well as naval and strategic targets in Israeli territorial waters.
“At night, under the command of the IDF intelligence agency and the Israeli Navy, the Israeli Air Force attacked Hezbollah weapons depots, command centers and other terrorist facilities in Beirut. Some targets were underground and included air and naval equipment used by Hezbollah to carry out terrorist attacks against the State of Israel,” the IDF said in a statement.
In September, the Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli army, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, announced the launch of a “pre-emptive offensive operation” called the “Arrows of the North” against Hezbollah, calling its target the military infrastructure of the Lebanese group. On the night of October 1, the IDF announced the start of ground operations in Lebanon. They include “limited, localized and targeted raids” against Hezbollah targets “in the border area of southern Lebanon”. On October 18, Hezbollah announced a “new phase of escalation of confrontation” with Israel.
Meanwhile, positional battles between the IDF and Hezbollah continue on the border. At the moment, Israel has not achieved its goals of stopping the shelling of northern Israel. Hopes that the assassination of several high-ranking Hezbollah leaders would solve Israel’s strategic problems have not been fulfilled. The killing of thousands of civilians and the destruction of civilian infrastructure also do not bring Israel any closer to achieving its goals.
the german navy shot down a hezbollah drone that was targeting israel. the germans are part of unifil. any reason why they aren’t shooting at israeli jets etc? the bbc is reporting israel bombed a lebanese hospital. looks like the same terror tactics they use on the palestinians. lebanon is part of the francophone world and the french do nothing to assist their former colony.
there’s nothing to expect from germans, once a nazi always a nazi. they just switched their hatred from jews to arabs/muslims because it’s more convenient for them nowadays, but deep down they’re still the same hateful racists and wannabee supremacists.
as for the zionazis, they’re only proving what we always knew: their hatred, greed and absolute disregard for international law, basic humanity, and justice mean there is no way they will ever be accepted in the region.
throughout history there has always been conquests, especially in the middle east, and in many cases the conquered eventually end up “accepting” and settling for the “new reality”. that’s when the invader gave acceptable terms (pay some taxes, give up some resources and otherwise carry on with your lives).
however in the case of israel they were always too arrogant, greedy and stupid to offer an acceptable deal. basically the only ‘peace deal’ they ever considered was “we take everything, you shut up, be slaves, leave or die” therefore it was never and will never be accepted. they will never win or achieve any durable peace, they’re are living on stolen land and borrowed time and eventually they will be gone. it’s only a matter of time
you obviously never set foot in germany. keep to topics you have some knowledge about would be my advice.
oh really? please share the precious knowledge that “setting foot in germany” would magically provide me, with regards to german governments and their geopolitical stances. is it by eating strudels that i can learn that? funny i thought that kind of knowledge was found in the press, political commentators and books
you said “nothing to expect from germans”, which implied the german people, now you change your tune by saying german governments. be precise, the german people, like the american people are not raving murderers.
no, when talking about politics saying the germans are this, or the americans will do that, or israelis/iranians or whatever, what is implied is not the respective peoples but their governments. or armies. plus i was responding to initial comment saying “the germans are part of unifil..why they aren’t shooting at israeli jets”, and it seemed pretty clear to me it was not the german people expected to shoot down jets, but their army
why hezbollah afraid shoot israel jets down ?
any resemblance with a controlled demolition is pure coincidence. try hitting the base of a building and that building falls on its footprint in 2-3 seconds.
the same zionazi$ that did 9 11? pure $peculation, of course. when will $lumvillains stop their gubermint warmongering demons?
who will finally stop the anglozionazi bea$t?
hamas, hezbollah, iran, syria, iraq and yemen. versus israel and the rest of the world.
as long as the roads from iran into iraq through syria and into lebanon are open, hizbollah will continue to be able to depopulate illegal settlements in north israel.
assad
defeated
zionists
it’s alright not reaching idf goals. hezbullah is reaching their goal: destroying lebanon.
seeing the building collapsing in less than 5 secs after the i$raeli bomb arrived… hartbreaking, really. why they destroied it? what kind of target it was if not a civilian one?
israel took all of hezbollahs money. they are broke, now. all they have left is diaper hats
i guess we can now all see under the veil of “god’s chosen chimpanzees” and the myth of idf invincibility. monsters and mentally ill patients. they are not as smart as they made you to believe. jews are overrated
