At the late hours of December 21, the Israeli military blew up several “attack tunnels” of Hezbollah inside Israel territory. The sound of the explosions was reportedly heard in southern Lebanon and in some Israeli settlements near the “blue line,” which separates the countries.
“The neutralization and destruction phase of Hezbollah’s attack tunnels dug from Lebanon into Israel has begun. Our effort to expose additional tunnels continues according to plan,” the Israeli military said on Twitter.
Two of the tunnels, which were destroyed, start in the Lebanese towns of Ramyah and Kafr Kila, according to Avichay Adraee, a spokesman for the Israeli military, who called on Lebanese civilians to stay away from the entrances of the alleged tunnels.

Earlier this month, the Israeli military launched Operation Northern Shield with the aim of discovering and neutralizing Hezbollah’s attack tunnels. So far, only four short tunnels were uncovered.
The Israeli operation was seen by many local observers as an attempt by Tel Aviv to provoke Hezbollah and drag it into a military confrontation.
“Attack tunnel?” What is the difference between an “attack tunnel” and a defense tunnel, or a smuggling tunnel, or any other kind of tunnel? What is the Jew-scam here?
Its just that brave IDF special forces attacked and overhelmed with combined arms fire a hall in the ground. I suspect that there might be medals and awards given in this very moment.
It depends on who owns it, or allegedly dug it. If it’s allegedly a Hezbollah tunnel, it is an evil attack tunnel of doom. If it belongs to any of US allies, it may be a defensive, baby, angel, puppy or rainbow tunnel. I think they were remnant of water stealing tunnels but what do I know? I’m also evil.

I think they are planning to annexe the Lebanese territories their side of the Blue line, just like they have effectively annexed the Golan Heights.
What they want and what they can is changing rapidly in front of our eyes. In 2006 they were more “impulsive” and it turned out… disastrous. This time they prefer fighting halls in the ground, hoping that those would not fight back.

Why is it called a separation line? Because it’s in Lebanon, it’s not the border. The so called Blue line is supposed to separate Israeli forces from Lebanese forces, and is guarded by the UN. Israel treats it’s side like it is Israel and has free access, Lebanon however is banned from its own territory.

well, now that the ever evil israelis are neutered by the presence of S-300s in Syria, they need to do something to maintain the idea that they are persecuted/harassed non stop and have been so since time eternal and in particular during ww2. thus start somewhere else and since Lebanon is next door and the home of the Hezbollahs, they might just catch some interest from the western media, that happily serve as useful idiots to israel.
in fact, israel needs the world but the world needs israel as much as nothing and thus israel should be discontinued forthwith. starting a de-recognition process by all countries that at one stage recognized israel as a sovereign country is due and closing of embassies etc should follow; branding israel, an ever evil terrorist country should stop the influx of money from jewish organisations around the world and suffocate the inhabitants onto their next diaspora. meanwhile support the boycott, divest and sanction movement.

The IDF could save time and money blowing up tunnels by not digging them in the first place. But then again they are spending other peoples’ money – the US taxpayers.
