Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) announced on March 6 that its security forces has captured a senior ISIS commander during a special operation in the town of Atarib in the western Aleppo countryside.

“Thanks to God we arrested Abu Khattab Kafr-Nabudah, the commander of Atarib security cells, which are loyal to al-Baghdadi’s [ISIS leader] gangs,” a security commander of HTS told the group’s news network Iba’a.

HTS security forces also found an ammo depot of ISIS cells in Atarib. The depot was filled with assault rifles, remote-controlled improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and other military equipment.

The operation in Atarib is a part of the ongoing war between HTS and ISIS. Last week, an ISIS suicide bomber blew himself up inside a local restaurant in the city of Idlib killing several foreign HTS fighters. In response to the attack, HTS executed ten ISIS members.

ISIS expanded its activity within the HTS-held territory in northwestern Syria last year. One of the possible reasons is an attempt to make up loses in the eastern part of the country. Despite HTS attempts to contain this threat, ISIS is still operating freely within the Idlib zone.

The ideological similarities between supporters of both groups allow ISIS to keep presence and operate within HTS-held areas.

HTS and ISIS are terrorists and must be eliminated from Idlib. A Syria-Hezbolah-Iran-Russia ground troops offensive in this region is necessary, even if Russia wants to please Turkey again. The safe havens region for terrorists created by Russia at Idlib must be eliminated.

Talking rubbish as usual Gustavo. Russian special forces were involved before because the situation was much more critical. Now situation has changed and SAA is suppose to do their duty. Their job without Russian ground help this time. I doubt that Russians are eager to get killed for liberating Syria any longer. Time for Syrians to do what is their patriotic duty finally.

Down with HTS=ISIS terrorist of Turkey.Putin after close door meetings With Erdogan agreed to send all FSA-ISIS =Al Nustra HTS saboteurs to Idlip. This happened after Erdogan give fake apology in Moscow to Putin after downing Russian jet.Assad used to screen and arrest or intergrated lots of defectors.Who agreed with about Al Tanf de escalation zones with USA and Idlip de escalation zone with Turkey.Who agreed with Israel about Israel’s safety and forming group to removed foreign troops.Who agreed with USA about withdrawal of Iranian troops from Quneitra border area.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

It’s getting harder and harder to believe these 2 groups are actually fighting each other instead of cooperating, they have absolutely nothing meaningful to gain by killing each other off, so common sense suggests they should instead combine their forces and cooperate for a common purpose. United they stand [longer] and divided they fall [quicker], and it’s not like there’s any real difference between them anyway, so why don’t they just form an alliance of convenience, if only to help defend themselves from any possible future SAA/Russian assault. Is it because they’re all so psychotically insane, maybe, or is it because they just can’t stop bickering over everything and anything, that seems to be the Arab way of doing things in general, and both HTS and Isis are well renowned for bickering/arguing, most probably that’s the real reason they haven’t been able to come to terms, but definitely not the only reason they haven’t, there could be another reason [or reasons], hopefully another Isis resurgence in Idlib isn’t one of them. The Isis fighters that have just escaped the SDF operations in Deir ez Zor will be looking for new homes now, and Idlibs as good a place as any and probably better than most now, at least from a defeated Isis fighters perspective it would be. And their old mate Erdogan used to buy all that plundered Syrian oil from them, so he owes them a favour [sort of], so maybe Isis will try to make Idlib their new home now, despite all those nasty things Erdogan says about them in the media, deeds have alway held more weight than words, as everyone already knows, his previous deeds made both himself and Isis a lot of money. But that wouldn’t happen until the SAA finally gave up on waiting for Putin’s diplomatic efforts and mounted small scale assaults on HTS and the other rebels, that’s when Erdogan would let his Isis friends make a resurgence, not before, that way he could blame the SAA for their comeback, clever bastard that he is, he’d say something like, ‘the rebels and HTS were running the Governorate OK until the SAA spoilt things by attacking rebels which allowed Isis to take advantage of the situation. I hope I’m wrong, but I won’t be surprised at all if Isis does make a resurgence here in idlib, they’re probably all heading that way now.
