On September 4, the Russian Ministry of Defence reported that four US-made high-speed military boats Willard Sea Force with Ukrainian assault groups on board were destroyed by Russian aircraft on their way towards the Cape Tarkhankut in Crimea.
Inspired by the recent ‘success’ of the Kiev’s media campaign in the north-western part of Crimea, which was dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine LINK, the Ukrainian military decided to attempt another landing operation on the Crimean Peninsula, when long-awaited negotiations between Outin and Erdogan began in the Russian city of Sochi. However, this time the PR campaign and the Ukrainian military lost more professional fighters in the waters of the Black Sea.
Russian military sources revealed some interesting details of the incident.
On the night of September 4, five US-made boats with servicemen of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine and the Special Forces on board sailed away from the area of Zatoka in the Odessa region and headed towards the Cape Tarkhankut in Crimea. The Portugese-made Tekever UAV which took off in Snigirevka was coordinating the operation.
This time the group of Ukrainian boats was timely detected by Russian forces. The units of the 31st division of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Russian army first shot down the UAV from the Pantsir air defense system. As a result, Ukrainian servicemen were ‘blinded’.
Then the Russian aircraft of the Black Sea Fleet naval aviation entered the battle and catched up the Ukrainian boats that already turned back inn an attempt to escape to Ukraine.
The first three boats with their crews were destroyed by a Su-24M bomber 43 km northwest of Tarkhankut. They were reportedly struck with four RBK-500 cluster bombs. The fourth boat was also immediately destroyed to the west of the Golitsyn gas platform in the Black Sea. It was reportedly destroyed by two two RBK-500 bombs dropped by the Russian Su-30SM. The fifth Ukrainian boat managed to return to Zatoka.
The suicide attacks of Ukrainian groups on the Crimean peninsula are unlikely to lead to any military victories. They are mainly aimed at gaining at least some hype in the MSM. On September 4, Turkish President Erdogan came to Russia for talks with Vladimir Putin. the main topic is the grain deal which was suspended by Moscow in mid-July. Kiev was not invited. The provocation in the Black Sea was likely aimed to show the might of the Ukrainian military but it turned into another humiliating defeat. The Kiev regime once again showed that it is not set to follow any agreements and it will continue escalate the situation in the Black Sea.
who wants to take bets on tha erdog betraying the kremlin again, playing frenemy with the west and the kremlin going “wow how could this happen?” the fact that we trust him is a joke idk why you guys do.
