The London-based monitoring group said that the Kurdish-led group was attempting to recapture several key positions around the town of Tell Tamr from the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA).

Heavy clashes are now reportedly taking place in the villages of al-Qasimiyah and al-Rihaniyah north of Tell Tamr, with Turkish drones flying over the region. Intense shelling by the Turkish artillery was also reported.

“The Syrian Observatory documented the killing of nine members of pro-Ankara factions during the clashes, while six personnel of the SDF were killed in the shelling and clashes. The number of those killed may rise because there are many wounded, some in critical condition,” the SOHR’s report reads.

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), which deployed several units around Tell Tamr in the last few weeks, is not apparently participating in the counter-offensive.

The SNA launched a large-scale attack around Tell Tamr last week after accusing Kurdish forces of violating the Sochi agreement between Ankara and Moscow.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

5 villages recaptured by the SDF, wow, and the SAA were under attack from the SNA in the same area just yesterday, not a bad turn around I’d say, go SAA, go SDF, f–k the Russian/Turkish MOU, kill the SNA bastards and the Turks as well.
