Jets of the Libyan National Army (LNA) have carried out a serikes of strikes on arms depots of the Shura Council of Mujahideen in Derna (SCMD), a coalition of radical groups linked to al-Qaeda and ISIS.
“Libyan Air Force’s fighters carried out airstrikes on late Saturday, June 2, on main arms depots of the Shura Council of Mujahideen in Derna as well as a hospital belonging to terrorist groups,” LNA spokesman Khalifa Obeidi said, according to Sputnik.
Obeidi said that the depots were fully destroyed.
The LNA started its military operation to defeat the SCMD and to take control of the northeastern city of Derna on May 7. Since then, the LNA has captured a number of points in the eastern and western parts of the city.
The LNA has captured the district of Fatayah and has entered the district of Bab Tobruk.

Well done heroes. God bless you and give you victory over evil forces US and Israel.
A single town is run by a several allied groups, ever hear of unity of command? Not much coordination or teamwork in Derna I’m sure, but on the other hand I’m sure the LNA doesn’t have much more of it.
Libya, another American success story. I hope I live long enough to watch some country do to America, exactly what it has done to so many countries.
