Units of Ansar Allah (the Houthis) are developing their operation against Saudi-led forces in the Yemeni province of al-Jawf. Over the past month, they have captured most of the province and repelled several counter-attacks of Saudi-led forces. Now, the Houthis are focused on consolidating their gains in al-Jawf and preparing for a push on Marib.

Goal of the US/Saudi Arabia has always been to split up Yemen and isolate the Zaidi Shia into their own little resource-poor province in the middle of the mountains without access to any Yemeni ports or Yemeni’s oil. That’s what started the war. That’s why the Houthis revolted against Hadi and his Saudi masters.
So far, the Saudi/UAE scheme to cut the Zaidi Shia off from all ports failed when the Houthis were able to hold on to the partially-destroyed Port of Hodeidah. It remains (kind of) open today although shipping is still subject to Saudi blockade inspections and approval prior to unloading there.
Now the Houthis are ready to move on Marib, the oil hub of Yemen. Taking that would allow the Houthi to get refined products (mostly tankered in now) and potentially get the Marib-Ras Isa Oil Pipeline working again to export a little oil. The floating oil terminal/tanker (7km from coast) in Ras Isa still has a million barrels of crude onboard. The Saudis won’t let the Houthis or anyone else unload it, hoping it will sink or explode and permanently close the port. The ‘explosion’ will be ‘accidental’ of course and blamed on the Houthis for not maintaining the vessel. I expect the Saudis and their terrorist pals to mount a vigorous defense of Marib and, if necessary, destroy the oil infrastructure there before ever letting the Houthis get control.
Yemenis Ansar Allah are actually Muslims, while Saudi cowards are Wahhabi abominations and cowards, that is why Yemenis are in control over large part of Houdaidah. Hadi was just stupid Islamicbrotherhood Saudi spy and punk. Because he thought that with Saudi help he will stay in power, however it is not the case. Coward of his own country and people that is what he is! It is over to him…
