Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP) and several other armed groups have built new fortifications and reinforced their positions between the southwestern Aleppo countryside and the northern Hama countryside, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on August 22.
According to the pro-opposition monitoring group, these armed groups fear that the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies will soon launch an offensive on their positions. In the last few weeks, the SAA deployed large forces in southwestern Aleppo, northern Hama and northern Lattakia.
A day earlier, HTS’ leader “Abu Mohammad al-Julani” revealed in a video message that HTS and its allies had adopted a plan to repel any upcoming attack on the opposition-held areas in northern Syria. Al-Julani also warned that they can’t count on the Turkish observation posts.
These preparations and al-Julani’s statements show that the militants in northern Syria are well-aware of their difficult situation. However, local observers doubt that any of these preparations will be useful in front of the heavy fire power of the SAA and its allies.
they cant count on the turks???

Yes and pretty much a given. The Turkish military has not made any redeployments of troops and equipment that would be expected if the intent was to intervene in Idlib.

AL JULANI THAT SAUDI PIG WILL BE BLOWN THE FUCK UP!!!! HAAHHAAHAH
Exterminate the vermin! — No ‘peace deals’ as the vermin with eventually re-constitute and cause more misery again.
Al Julani tells his fellow terrorists not to count on the Turkish observation posts. This is stating the obvious gIven these widely dispersed observation outposts are just that, for observation. They are spaced to far apart to provide supporting fire or even a fire control line – even if the did, they are too lightly manned and equipped to dare take on the firepower that will be arrayed against them. I expect the SAA will simply bypass the outposts.
It is also noteworthy that the Turkish military has not shown any signs of a troop build up along Idlib contact line with Turkish border and Afrin which would be expected if Erdogan intended to intervene or at least have the option to do so. So far it looks like the terrorists in Idlib will be left to fend for themselves against the coming onslaught… oh dear, the tears are welling up again and I must take leave to find a box of tissues.
The clock is steadily ticking down on the Neocons’ al-Queda minions in Idlib. They will soon be crushed.
Hader town will be the staging point, then east to Fouah and Kafraya 30km away, which is the halfway mark, then another 30km to the Turkish border, Idlib is then split in half leaving the soft underbelly in the south for the SAA to attack at their leisure.
