Dnepropetrovsk Region: Russian Advance On Wide Front
Russian forces have begun operations in the Dnepropetrovsk region, marking a strategic expansion of the front. According to preliminary field reports, the assault began in Novomykolaivka, a settlement on the banks of the Solena River that serves as a gateway to deeper advances into the region. Should Russian troops push north of the river, they could threaten Ukrainian positions in Belyakovka and Mariivka.
Further south, Russian units are on the verge of entering Dnipropetrovsk’s Dachne from Zelenyi Kut, with only light Ukrainian defenses reported in the area. The village of Alekseevka together with a large territory nearby came under Russian control. Ukrainian military reports reflect growing frustration, with some openly questioning why command has not withdrawn forces to more defensible positions north of the Solena River. The upcoming capture of Zelenyi Kut will place Russian forces just 3 kilometers from Dachne, which could soon become the first settlement in Dnepropetrovsk region to fall under Russian control. Additionally, Ukrainian troops are rapidly retreating on a wide front in an attempt to avoid a deadly pincer between Zeleny Kut and Orikhove, where the mop up operations are coming to their end, with Russian units already establishing a foothold in Synelnykove district in Dnepropetrovsk region.

While Russian forces advance on multiple Donbass fronts, Ukrainian troops continue futile attempts to breach the border in the Kursk region.
