• The Taliban ambushed a convoy of government forces in the Qalati Ghilji district. The group claimed that 16 government troops were killed;
• The Taliban says that 15 civilians were killed and 12 others were wounded in recent US strikes across Ghazni province;
• The Taliban stormed several government checkpoints in the Chamtal district, Balkh province. The group claims that 22 government troops were killed and 4 others were injured;
• At least 5 vehlicles belonging to government forces were destroyed in the Khawaja Omari district, Ghazni province, the Taliban says.
