- At least seven policemen were killed in an insider attack in the Shah Wali Kot district, Kandahar province;
- A magnetic IED blast targeted a bus carrying employees of Khurshid TV in Kabul’s police district 4. 2 people were killed and 4 others were injured;
- Taliban members attacked administration center, police head quarter and nearby security checkpoints in the Dey Chopan district, Zabul province. The group claims that 7 government troops were killed;
- The Taliban claimed that 18 government personnel were killed in recent clashes in the Nawa district, Ghazni province;
- Clashes between the Taliban and government forces erupted in the Chora district, Urguzan province.
