A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- Gunmen attacked an Afghan security forces vehicle in Kabul’s PD9 killing two security forces and wounding three others;
- Government forces announced that they cleared the Marjah district of Helmand province from the Taliban killing 37 Taliban members;
- The Taliban seized a checkpoint in the Arghandab district of Kandahar province. 14 government troops were reprotedly killed in the area;
- The Taliban announced that a total of 38 government troops were killed and 4 were captured in recent clashes across Kunduz province.
US victory is at hand. I guess it WAS worth it, after all. Damn… we’re good!
