- At least 30 members of pro-government forces were reportedly killed in the ongoing clashes with the Taliban in the Ishkamish district in Takhar province;
- The Taliban captured several villages in the Yang Qala district, Takhar province, according to local sources;
- Security forces arrested 2 suspects in Herat province on charges of spying for regional states, according to a spokesman for the local governor;
- The Taliban claimed that its forces had killed at least 24 pro-government fiighters in the Mayan-e-Sheen administration center, Kandahar province;
- The Taliban claimed that its forces had got control of the Maiwand district, Kandahar province, killing 15 pro-government fighters.
