- 2 security personnel were killed and 4 others were wounded in an explosion of car bomb in Ghazni city. The vehicle’s driver was also killed;
- Pro-government sources claim that 32 Taliban members were killed and 19 others were injured as a result of the operation in the Kelagai district, Baghlan province;
- Pro-government forces carried out a series of operations in Wardak province. At least 20 Taliban members were reportedly killed;
- The Taliban shot down a reconnaissance UAV in the Sangin district, Helmand province;
- The Taliban killed or wounded 43 pro-government fighters and eliminated 2 vehicles in the Marjah district, Helmand province, the group’s media wing said;
- At least 5,000 members of the ISIS branch Wilayah Khorasan are deployed in northern Afghanistan, according to Russia’s FSB.
