- At least 6 people were killed and 6 others were wounded in a suicide bombing close to Marshal Fahim National Defense University in Kabul city;
- 12 Taliban members were killed in Wardak province, the Ministry of Interior said;
- 4 pro-government fighters were killed and 4 others were wounded in the Rabat-e-Sangi district, Herat province, the Taliban media wing said;
- The Taliban attacked a checkk point in the Maiwand district, Kandahar province. 8 personnel were reportedly killed.
