- At least 11 government fighters were killed or wounded in clashes with the Taliban in the Shor Tepa district, Balkh province;
- The Taliban is storming positions of government fores in the Darzab district, Jawzjan province;
- The Taliban claimed that its forces had killed 10 government troops in the Nad Ali district, Helmand province;
- 9 government troops were killed in the Shawalikot district, Kandahar province, the Taliban says.
