- At least one civilian was killed in a firefight between security guards of rival parliament members in the Bagrami district, Kabul province;
- The Taliban said that its members had captured several checkpoints in the disricts of Ahmad Abad, Zirok and Urgun in Paktika province. According to the group, 5 pro-government fighters were killed and 12 others were injured;
- The Kabul government’s district head of the Chaghto district, Wardak province was shot and killed by the Taliban in Kabul city;
- Clashes between the Taliban and government forces are ongoing in the Gizab district, Urozgan province.
