- The 209 Shaheen Military Corps reported that it had thwarted a Taliban attack on the Pashtun Kot district in Faryab province. The report claimed that 53 Taliban members were killed and dozens of others were wounded;
- The Taliban claimed that 8 police officers were killed in an attack on the Eram Shah area of Tarinkot city;
- The Taliban claimed that 18 pro-government personnel were killed or wounded, and 2 armoured vehicles were destroyed in the Rabti Sangi district, Herat province;
- The Taliban claimed that an IED attack targeted a vehicle of US forces near in the Sargaz area, near Kandahar Airbase.
