when you take out a patriot battery, it means you took out the command module, which renders the launchers inoperable. that’s why the us only sent 2 batteries, they are somewhat useless since they are immobile once they are set up and susceptible to uav attacks as this one was. once located, the 2nd battery command module will be destroyed. i do suspect the 2 mi-8 and 2 fighter jets that were destroyed days ago were victims of the patriot missiles, which made them priority targets.
