A brief overview of the recent developments in Libya:
- Sources loyal to the Government of National Accord (GNA) reported multiple Libyan National Army (LNA) artillery strikes near south of Abu Salim in southern Tripoli. They claim that a civilian was killed in the shelling;
- Mitiga International Airport remains under a constant threat of rocket strikes from the LNA;
- The number of Turkish-backed militants arriving Libya from Syria has reportedly decreased. LNA sources link this with the setbacks of Turkish-backed groups in Syria’s Idlib.
Is Erdogan hoping his terrorists from Idlib will find a spot in Libya in which to carry on their mercenary activities? Perhaps Erdogan’s promises of Turkish residency for all participating terrorists is an empty one and that they all perish in Libya.
The LNA occupy most of the country and the ports. It’s a done deal and Libyan’s won’t look back on Turkish involvement too kindly. Lot’s of grovelling to Libya in the future, or maybe a change of negotiator will be the only way to clear any future animosity?

Last Friday massive peoples demonstration in Benghazi and other cities demanding end to Sarraj gangster regime in Tripoli (GNA) and neo-Ottoman invasion. The elected House of Representive army (LNA) controls, and is supported by all of Libya except the Islamic mafias in Misrata and Tripoli. I remember when the people of Benghazi were the heroes of western media in 2011, but not now as the LNA fights to free Libyans from Turks and their terrorists, funny that. The war is not won until both militia strongholds of Tripoli and Misrata are taken – meantime Italy sits on the fence, terrified of losing their (ENI) gas flow from Mellitah.
