This map provides a general look at the military situation in southern Idlib following the recent advance by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly the official branch of al-Qaeda in Syria) and other radical groups on positions of the Syrian Army. During their advance, militants captured the villages of Delim, Barsah and Samkeh. All of them were liberated by government troops during their offensive in the region in late 2019.
The above are villages not towns, a few hundred people in each. No loss.
