- On August 23, the Russian Ministry of Defense recorded no cases of hostilities and ceasefire violations in the Idlib region in the past 24 hours;
- On August 21, General Michael Erik Kurilla, commander of the U.S. Central Command, traveled to Syria where he visited the al-Hol and al-Roj Displaced Persons Camps in northeastern Syria, according to CENTCOM;
- On August 22, Russian warplanes struck HTS positions on the outskirts of Idlib. 17 HTS members reportedly were killed;
- On August 23, public protests against the deteriorating living conditions continued in the Suwayda governorate.
