A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- Russia deployed Mi-8, Mi-35 helicopters and Pantsir-S air defense systems in the al-Qamishly airport;
- The Syrian Army eliminated a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device near Khan Shaykhun;
- Clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Turkish-backed militants erupted in al-Qasimiyah and al-Rihaniyah north of Tell Tamr;
- US forces expanded their military presence in al-Qahtaniyah and Heemo near al-Qamishly;
- Turkish-backed miltiants destroyed a truck-mounted 23 mm heavy machine gun of the the SDF near Tell Tamr with an anti-tank guided missile;
- A series of Russian airstrikes hit militant positions across western and southern Idlib.
