- On September 18, Russia reported that Idlib militants violated the ceasefire regime in Greater Idlib 5 times: 3 – in Idlib province, 2 – in Aleppo province;
- On September 17, two Asayish members were killed and eight others were wounded by Turkish drone attack near Qamishli;
- Iran had suggested a plan for a Turkish military withdrawal from Syria, the country’s foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said in his interview with Al-Vefagh that was published on September 17;
- On September 18, the Turkish Army sent a convoy of 15 units of military equipment to the Idlib region via Kafr Lusin crossing;
- On September 18, Turkish authorities deported 480 Syrian people to northern Syria via the border crossings of Tal Abyad and Bab al-Hawa.
