Already reports of equipment concentrations and transport to the region. They are surely preparing something, and most likely of gigantic scale. Idea to saturate and overwhelm the technologically superior but numerically far inferior army.
Spotting and hunting for their tech is critical. As much himars, SAMs, srbm’s as possible needs to be taken out. Contingency plans of safely disabling for the med-long term (>1.5 yrs), and dismantling as much as possible the NPP should be strongly considered.
Planning should be made to have RU air force work at capacity they’ve never so far seen, and sadly, to be prepared to have them take risks greater than command has felt comfortable with. Tons of drones too. Mig-25 wild weasels going high and supersonic to bait Buk and S-300 systems. Any other objects like old bulky anti radiation missiles to bait these systems and/or strike low precision targets. All the Su-24’s Russia has working around the clock. Su-34 and Su-57 to back them.
Mig-25 as strike ground assault truck descending in high (15km) at ~2.5 mach deploying glide bombs does not give enemy much time to react. If you can jam the awacs at least I suppose; yet if not, you can also have these guys around the clock over Donbass going supersonic, on sorties throwing empty punches dozens of times a day (yes, the sonic booms, even from 15km high, might be annoying for residents of Donbass, yet this only needs to be done for a few days to a week).
I am sure Russia is preparing a large scale missile, drone, artillery and air bombing welcome for them.

Douglass Macgreggor was on Fox News with Tucker Carlson in which he stated that, “Right now, things are going very, very badly, which is why there so desperate, ” referring to the Ukranian military. He also stated that Zelensky peesonally has Col Macgreggor on a “kill list”. He also stated, “But the larger picure is as follows: the ukranians have focused on take and retake territory, the russians haven’t paid much attention as they have paid attention to destroy Ukranian Forces”. He continues, “In the offensive down South, they failed miserably , 30%, 40%, 50% casualties and loss of equipment and bear in mind that when the equipment does show up only 30% and 40% of it ever reaches the Ukranians the rest disappears in a sea of corruption..” He added that this desperation on part of the Ukrainian regime , “… This desperation is very dangerous because they are losing, once again just South of Kharkov and there are people in Washington talking about fighting and potentially winning a limited nuclear war…” Retired US Army Colonel warned…
Very interesting post. Made me feel more positive about the future. But this has to be it now, Putin cannot allow for more hard-won territory to be lost, especially not in such an embarrassing fashion.
