russia seems to have brought a lot of former military back to fighting shape but seems to keep them at home still. their numbers in ukraine have remained largely the same despite mobilisation. i’ve seen videos of 3-4 russians with ak-74s defending trenches against a dozen or more ukrainians. they’re simply outnumbered.
