the houthi’s need to take control of that corner of yemen if thay are to succed in controling traffic in the strait. the saudi puppet will keep it open so the genocide in palestine may continue. the abraham accords will be mill stones around the necks of the arab states who signed it. so far nothing has gone according to plan and desalination plants could be up next.
i believe, they may obtain more than that corner. if it takes years, it does.
you say that but the rest of the country is in poverty. the saudi admin hasn’t improved things for the people of yemen. it was always meant to be held by nato via saudi admin for the sake of the isreali apartheid regime. that hasn’t gone so well either.

the more yemen the ansar allah controls, the better. but it’s not necessary for them to be present at the narrowest point in the peninsula to control the passage. their rockets have already proven they can reach any ship that tries to come through, from where they are now.
imo, the question is, the houthi tech is good but can they run a country and give their people the lifestyle they want, can afford, is available? china was the last to cut themselves off from tech and industry and that didn’t go so well. i thought other admins might see that they are squandering talent by excluding females but they haven’t. much to the determent of the humans who live there.
