The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) haven’t been able to move further throug the Manbij-Al Bab highway or to enter the city of Manbij because of a successfull resistance of the ISIS terrorist group. Furthermore, ISIS militants launched a number of counter-attacks on June 13. ISIS units are attempting to break the siege from the strategic city of Manbij. Heavy clashes are ongoing in the area.
Meanwhile, the predominantly Kurdish SDF made a move to the North, seizing the village of Qirq, Maghar. Now, Kurdish units are only in about 18 km from the strategic border city of Jarablus, controlled by ISIS.
