On August 15, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the destruction of more than 500 soldiers fighting for the Kiev regime, including foreign mercenaries.
The armed forces of the Russian Federation destroyed the military base of foreign mercenaries near the town of Zolochiv in the Kharkiv region. More than 100 militants from Poland and Germany were killed and more than 50 others were wounded.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue suffering heavy losses on the front lines. According to the Russian Defence Ministry, the 63rd mechanized brigade of the AFU lost more than 160 servicemen near the villages of Belogorka and Lozove in the Kherson region.
In the Donetsk People’s Republic, more than 260 Ukrainian servicemen were killed over the past day in the areas of Ugledar, Vodiane and Dobrovolye. The third battalion of the 66th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reportedly lost more than 70% of the personnel near Maryinka.
More than 50% of the personnel and military equipment of the 15th Battalion of the 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed in the Soledar region.
Since the beginning of the Russian military operations in Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been suffering heavy losses. This resulted in a conflict between the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the political leadership of the country. The Ukrainian military command assesses the risks and avoids losing military personnel in senseless counter-offensive operations in an attempt to save lives of their servicemen for prolonged military conflict.
On the other hand, Ukrainian President Zelensky has to claim any victories on the front lines to gain public support that he lost before the beginning of Russian military operations as well as to show the efficiency of Western-made weapons on the battlefield and get more military and financial support from his Western allies. Even if the price to pay are thousands of lives of Ukrainian servicemen.
Russians ADs are useless. Soon the Crimean bridge will be destroyed. Russian ADs can’t protect anything.
Lay off the drugs. Even without any protection, missiles won’t destroy that bridge. They could strike it everyday for a couple weeks maybe to get it compromised

Sentiments aside – The warehouse seen in the video is already punctured like a swiss cheese. The countryside around that warehouse no less. There have been hundreds of artillery impacts at that site. Are they sure that video corresponds to the text of the article?
Could it have been a GRAD battery fired off a hundred missiles or so, then a missile with a video camera was sent to check out how things had turned out at the target?
No, that would actually be rather dumb to use the low quality, extremely minimally controllable, only seconds usable camera of an actual attack device for reconnaissance matters.
If someone would actually want to check the fullfillment of objectives, he would use a drone. I’m quite sure, trust me.. I’m a doctor.
Except drones are slow, easily shot down and many have limited range – and if you were going to hit something with a rocket barrage then why not save a video camera equipped missile till last, to finish the job and see how things turned out, and kill two birds with one stone? Sort of like using tracer bullets mixed in with regular ones. Another possibility is they were hiding in an already shelled location in the hope of evading notice. But several times I’ve seen videos of multiple rocket grad launches, many of the designs are only fairly accurate, think of a shotgun pattern as it spreads out with increasing range. Plus a single missile would leave survivors, like the Himars missile that hit the POW’s building, even with that plus a fire more than half escaped, many uninjured. So to me it looks like they made sure to splatter it thoroughly with a good pattern density. There could have been more recon done like you suggest but it was not released to the public, they often only show just enough to prove the point.

As far as attacks on the Zap nuclear facility goes, the guided rounds of the HIMARS don’t miss. They were fired by US military personel. There is no way Ukraine would have fired those guided missle rounds on their own. Ukraine is warning Russia that they are capable of hitting the reactors or spent fuel casts if they wish.
Everyone is underestimating the resulting deaths from deliberately hitting these spent fuel casts or reactor. Each spent fuel cast has over 20 million curries of Transuranics and fission products. Those himars missles will likely burn and atomize that waste stream. The West would have just triggered a nuclear weapon.
