Kiev on fire: Russia has launched a retaliatory strike on the Ukrainian capital, the building of the Security Service (SBU) has been hit.
The situation in Kurakhove has become more tense, with 70% of Ukrainian reinforcement troops deserting on their way to the city and Russia steadily advancing.
Yesterday, the Russian MOD reported that the Ukrainian military used six US-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles and four Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles to attack the Kamensky Combine (engaged in the production of rocket fuel) in the Rostov Region.
The Russian defense ministry immediately stated that these actions of the Kiev regime, which is supported by Western handlers, would not go unanswered.
In response to Ukraine’s use of Western weapons, a series of powerful explosions erupted in Kiev earlier this morning. Among other targets, Russian Armed Forces (RAF) have struck the building of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Luch design bureau with long-range precision weapons. Several high officials of the army and special services are rumored to have been killed.

The second target of the Russian massive strike was the Zaporizhzhia Region. The RAF carried out there 399 strikes on 12 localities over the past 24 hours.
In the Kursk direction, the Russian forces have advanced with heavy fighting in the forested areas in the north of the Sudzha district and in the Cherkasskaya Konopelka area. They have taken full control of Novoivanovka. Ukrainian units retain forces for counterattacks, although the assault groups of the defending units increasingly no longer consist of 30 men with an attached tank, but only 12-14 soldiers and an armored recovery vehicle. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian forces are putting up fierce resistance, slowing down the Russian advance. Two concentrations of Ukrainian personnel and equipment in the settlements of Gornal and Malaya Loknya were destroyed by strikes with Russian FAB-3000 high explosive aerial bombs.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian troops are expanding their bridgehead on the western bank of the Oskol River and keep attacking in the southern part of Dvurechnaya towards the center. South of Kupiansk, the RAF advanced with a broad front in the direction of Zagryzovo and Lozovaya.
In the Toretsk (Dzerzhynsk) direction, there is heavy fighting. In the central part of the city, Russian troops continue their attacks north of the Tsentralnaya (Central) mine, along Svetlaya and Mirnaya streets, and north of the block of high-rise buildings towards the Avangard stadium.
In the Pokrovsk direction, The Russian Armed Forces have progressed towards Ukrainka from Pushkino and Novoolenivka, and another “pocket” between the villages is being cleared.
As a result of decisive actions by Russian units, the village of Uspenovka (pre-war population of about 500 people, located eight kilometers south of Kurakhove) was taken. This settlement was the point where the “claws” of two converging blows came together – from the north on the side of Dalnye and from the south on the side of Blagodatnoye. A group of several hundred Ukrainian fighters to the east was completely surrounded. The full elimination of this pocket is the matter of time. After Kurakhove is soon cleared, the Southern group of forces will be able to concentrate exclusively on Velyka Novosilka.

In the Kurakhove direction, the 39th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade hoisted the Russian flag in the settlements of Ostrovskoye (Konstantinopolskoye) and Zelenivka. In Kurakhove itself, the Ukrainian army recognizes a serious advance of Russian troops: practically all high-rise buildings have come under Russian control. The Ukrainian command describes the situation as “difficult”.

In the Vremevskoye direction, Russian troops have taken Razdolnoye, fighting is underway for Novy Komar, and the RAF have succeeded in gaining a firm foothold there.
