Forces of the Kyiv regime continue massive UAV attacks on Russian regions. Over the past  24 hours, Russian forces shot down five U.S.-made HIMARS MLRS projectiles and 181 fixed-wing U.S.-made UAVs.

Strikes on Russia

Overnight into January 11, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a massive UAV attack on Russian regions. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, air defense intercepted a total of 85 UAVs involved in the attack.

31 UAVs were destroyed over the Black Sea and 14 over the waters of the Sea of ​​Azov, 16 UAVs were shot down over the territory of Voronezh region, 16 – over Krasnodar region, 4 – over the territory of Belgorod region, 2 – over the territory of Tambov Region, 1 – over the territory of the Republic of Crimea and another one – over Kursk Region.

Despite this, the attack caused damage to civilian infrastructure and led to victims among civilians.

UAVs crashed into two apartment buildings in the town of Kotovsk in Tambov Region. The acting head of the region, Evgeny Pervyshov, said on his Telegram channel that 7 people suffered from the attack: three sustained cuts from shattered glass, while 4 others complained of elevated blood pressure.

“All necessary assistance has been provided, and hospitalization was not required,” he stated.

A UAV attack also damaged two five-story apartment buildings, shattering windows and damaging balconies. City administration officials have formed a working group to address the repairs, promising to provide the necessary support.

Later on January 11, at around 12:00 local time, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that a UAV was intercepted over Belgorod region.

Meanwhile, the Russian side reported that over past 24 hours air defence facilities shot down a total of five U.S.-made HIMARS MLRS projectiles and 181 fixed-wing U.S.-made UAVs.

Strikes on Ukraine

On January 11, the Russian Defense Ministry revealed in a statement that Operational-Tactical Aviation, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, and Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces delivered strikes at infrastructure of military airfields, power objects ensuring operation of the Ukrainian defence industry as well as engaged clusters of manpower and military hardware in 146 areas.

Besides this, according to local media, the Russian military continues its campaign of destroying military infrastructure in the rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian strikes reportedly hit targets in the regions of Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhia, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv and some other areas. In particular, strikes were reported in the parts of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Kherson region, which are in the hands of the Kyiv regime.
