Strikes on Russia
On January 6, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that over the past 24 hours its air defence shot down one French-made Hammer guided aerial bomb, 12 U.S.-made HIMARS MLRS projectiles, and 115 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.
A part of these UAVs was involved in a night attack on Russian regions. Over the past night, Russian air defense intercepted 12 Ukrainian UAVs. Two UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region, 7 – over the territory of the Kursk region, two – over the territory of the Bryansk region, one – over the territory of the Republic of Crimea.
During the day, Russian air defense shot down 7 more UAVs: 4 – over the Belgorod region and 3 – over the Kursk region.
In the Belgorod region, the AFU attacked a moving tractor. The strike was carried out with the help of an FPV drone. The driver, with shrapnel wounds to his hands and legs, was taken to City Hospital No. 2 in Belgorod, where he received necessary medical assistance. In total, three civilians were injured as a result of Ukrainian drone attacks.
Additionally, the AFU struck at frontline cities in the Zaporizhia region, attacking civilian infrastructure using drones. The Vasilievka Hospital and a cell tower in the village of Dneprovka were hit.
The AFU also made an attempt to attack the Zaporizhia NPP and Enerhodar using eight fixed-wing UAVs. All drones were shot down by air defense systems. When one of the downed drones fell, it exploded and caught fire on the roof of the Zaporizhia NPP training center. There were no casualties or damage at the station, and the radiation situation is normal. The head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, issued a statement regarding the attack on the Zaporizhia NPP, but did not directly attribute the provocation to Ukraine. However, both Grossi and other experts once again confirmed the severity of the consequences for Ukraine and neighboring countries in the event of a possible catastrophe at the largest nuclear power plant in Europe.

Furthermore, explosions were in Bila Tserkva and Vyshhorod in the Kiev region, in Romny in the Sumy region, in the Mykolaiv region, in Kharkiv, in Poltava, in the city of Smarz in the Poltava region, in Zolotonosha in the Chernihiv region, in Cherkasy, in the city of Haisyn in the Vinnytsia region, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and in the vicinity of Zhytomyr.
Also according to the Russian Defense Ministry, a Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft was shot down by Russian aviation on January 5.

it’s laughable. not only did ru not take kyiv in 3 days but now after 3 years of war, ukraine moved to kursk and after 6 month of russia being unable to kick the ukros out of russia, ukraine is now going on the offensive and is on the brink to take the whole kursk region away from putin. so funny !!! it’s so damn obvious that russia is in deep sh*t with their quagmire smo, same as usa was in vietnam.
moron amerikun humiliated by superior russian—responds to very stupid amerikan impersonating russian
@fidor
perhaps you will take note that russia never wanted to take kyiv, in my opinion, they still don’t want to do that to this day!
they stood at the gates of kyiv after less than 48h and stopped there, forced zelenskaya to the negotiating table and retreated again!
ukraine may be russia’s vietnam, but kursk is clearly zelenskaya’s waterloo!
since this completely senseless action, russia has been marching through the donbass as if there was no tomorrow!
if there are negotiations and russia simply leaves sudzha to the ukrainians, ukraine can’t even complain in retrospect, because they have “conquered” russian territory and moved a border, which, according to the western view, is supposedly not possible at all! but no matter, since kursk in any case, things have been going smoothly for russia…
the situation in the failed ukrainian cia project does not resemble the vietnam atrocity in any way, with the exception perhaps of the equivalent degree of failure of the us puppet in both cases. kursk is nearly 30 000 sq km, of which the ukrainians are running around on 5%. keep up the derp, derpster.
