In response to Kiev’s attempts to attack peaceful Russian cities and another provocation in the Black Sea, Russian forces launched another wave of strikes on military facilities throughout Ukraine.
On August 18, a Ukrainian unmanned boat attempted to attack Russian patrol ships in the southwestern part of the Black Sea. Like the previous attacks, this one ended in failure and the Ukrainian drone was destroyed.
On the same day, Ukrainian drones targeted Russian rear areas. However, it will not be possible to find out where they were going, since four UAVs were intercepted over the Russian state border.
A few hours earlier, one Ukrainian UAV was suppressed by electronic warfare means in the Moscow region. As a result, several more windows in a skyscraper in the Moscow City quarter were knocked out by the wreckage of the Ukrainian drone.
On the night of August 19, the Kiev regime also ‘attempted a terrorist attack with an anti-aircraft missile of the S-200 air defense system converted into a strike version on the territory of Crimea’, the Russian Defence Ministry reported. Russian air defense systems timely detected and destroyed it in the air. There are no casualties or destruction.
On the morning of August 19, the Kiev regime carried out an attack at a military airfield in the Novgorod region, using quadrotor UAVs. The UAVs were destroyed with small arms. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in the aircraft parking lot, which was promptly eliminated by fire crews. One aircraft was damaged, there were no casualties as a result of the incident. The attack could be carried out by the local sabotage group.

Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to terrorize the civilian population of the Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Kiev is massively shelling populated areas, including with cluster munitions. Over the past day alone, 6 civilians were killed in Donetsk, and more others were injured.
Provocations by the Kiev regime are always followed by harsh retaliation strikes by Russian missiles and UAVs.

On the night and morning of August 19, explosions thundered in many Ukrainian regions, the destruction of numerous targets was confirmed. While the Kiev regime plays a victim, and Ukrainians are puzzled to ask “why?”.
A Russian ballistic missile hit a target in Chernihiv. The success of the Russian strike was officially confirmed by local authorities, who traditionally did not disclose the details. However, the precision strike was so impressive that the locals revealed all the information in social networks.
The Russian missile hit the local theater, where an exhibition of drones was being held at that moment. According to Ukrainian statements, at least six people were killed. Ukrainian sources claimed two strikes.
The exhibition was called “Fierce Birds”. The Russian missile forces also decided to take part in the exhibition.

At the same time, several powerful explosions thundered in the capital of Ukraine. The mayor of Kiev confirmed the explosions on the city outskirts. According to the Interior Ministry, the fire broke out in a warehouse. The media wrote that the incident took place in the area of Sofiyevskaya Borshchagovka in the Kiev region.

Judging by the video from the city, a secondary detonation is heard at the site of the fire, which confirms the another successful Russian strike on a warehouse of Ukrainian ammunition and military equipment or another military facility.
Another video shows fire in a residential quarter in Kiev, which was likely a separate incident. Any details are yet to eb revealed:
At night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation struck the Novokramatorsky Machine-building plant in the town of Kramatorsk, which is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The success of the Russian attack was confirmed by the mayor of the city and the Ukrainian media. According to local authorities, one of the workshops of the enterprise was destroyed, there were no casualties.
The workshops of the enterprise in the city located next to the frontlines are used by the Ukrainian military for the repair and storage of their equipment.

Also, the Ukrainian authorities recognized the Russian strikes on targets in the Zhytomyr region. According to officials, large fire broke out at an infrastructure facility allegedly as a result of falling debris of the intercepted Russian UAV. However, given the ‘success’ of the Ukrainian air defense in repelling the Russian attacks, the Russian Geranium UAVs most likely successfully hit their targets, which are not disclosed at the moment.
At night, an ammunition depot was destroyed by Russian strikes in the Khmelnitsky region. Local residents reported very powerful explosions and a bright red glow in the sky after the strikes in the Letichevsky district. Local authorities confirmed the attack, saying that 30 houses were damaged by the blast wave, without clarifying what was the target of the strikes.

It was revealed by open sources that the Russian strike destroyed the ammunition depot of the military arsenal of the military unit #28305, located near Lysogorka in the Letichevsky district in the Khmelnitsky region.
Also last night, explosions were reported in the Vinnytsia, Lviv and Poltava regions.
