Abu Amshah, the commander of the Turkish-backed Sultan Suleiman Shah Brigade
On August 24, dozens of civilians and Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters protested in the northern Syrian city of Afrin to demand prosecution of “Abu Amshah,” the commander of the Turkish-backed Sultan Suleiman Shah Brigade, who was accused of raping a local woman, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).
A day earlier, the victim “Isra’a Yusuf al-Khalil,” who is married to a fighter of the Sultan Suleiman Shah Brigade, released a video in which she accused Abu Amshah of raping her three times. According to Isra’a, Abu Amshah threatened that he will execute her husband if she tells anyone about his crime.
Following the protests, the general command of the Turkish-backed “National Army” ordered an investigation into the alleged rape of Isra’a by Abu Amshah. However, local activists viewed the investigation as an attempt to calm down the public opinion and doubted that the commander will be interrogated.
Since its capture by the Turkish military and its proxies, the area of Afrin have been witnessing a wave of crimes that targeted everyone, including fighters of the Turkish-backed FSA. However, Turkey is yet to take any measures to face the deteriorating security situation in the area.

I am 68 next month Jorge :) It would be an experience though, tempered with anger, dismay and shame at what my country and others in the US Coalition have done and continue to do as they seek to destroy Syria.
With 68 you are still a young, so you still are invited, if you want, but you must learn arab till april/2019, learn how to drop a knife at 5 meters and to shoot with a machine gun (I prefer the Sterling, I’ve never missed a shot) with your eyes open at 20 meters

Good. I will see where I can learn Arabic. That was my goal last year: go to Syria and report from there since my country gets only rubbish from CNN, BBC and so on, and the national media here basically parrots it. Damascus and eventually Aleppo were my destinations. I even went to Qatar, and I was about to go to Lebanon as a first stop before crossing (I already had the contacts), but it couldn’t be.
I was a reasonable shot in my younger days. I used the Stirling mainly on 25yd or 100yd ranges. It was not my preferred weapon though, an as a range officer it was a weapon where the firers could be more of a danger to those behind them ! I recall one incident when a soldier exclaimed ‘ Sir, my guns jammed ‘ as he turned round to face me ,Lol. Knife throwing has never really been a skill for me and I struggle to write coherent English most of the time Jorge :)
For simplicity I prefer AK 47 and AK 72. About 5 years ago I had an opportunity to fire AK’s again in Poland. I was rather surprised to get a 100mm group without my glasses :)

You see this wrong: rape is expected, the fact that he didn’t slit her throat afterwards proves his moderation. I think if someone chose to join the Suleiman Shah Brigade’s assault on the Syrian state, this is the kind of situation you helped to bring about. Enjoy it while it lasts.

It could be propaganda though. You got the wife of fighter speaking out on a video which sounds concocted to me. Is there medical/DNA evidence collected or not? Not saying I like the Turks – I don’t: they are invaders/occupiers – but this could be lying propaganda to stir up the people.
Never heard of a moslem woman tell of rapes in such a situation. She would bring shame on herself and her husband and her family and husband would probably kill her for speaking out. No doubt the pig is a rapist and has raped women however i think this is a frame-up. Either way i would be happy for him to be chopped anyway as he is a headchopper!

That seems to be a common theme when it comes to Turkish, or Turkish headchoppers occupied Syria. Like the Italians in the 19th century Turkey has a big appetite, but very poor teeth. And when I mean Turkey I mean Erdogan of course.
