The Russian Aerospace Forces have delivered 30 more airstrikes on ISIS targets in the area west of Palmyra in the Syrian province of Homs.
Most of these airstrikes were delivered during the recent attempt by ISIS terrorsits to advance on government forces deployed in the Tyas Airbase. The air support allowed the Syrian army and its allies to succesfully foil the ISIS attack without significant casualties. Up to 55 terrorists were reported killed.
Russian warplanes also targeted a military camp and a weapon depot belonging to the terrorist group near Bir Marhitan and Qasr al-Halabat.
