On August 11, several units of the Russian Millitary Police were deployed on the Murak crossing between the government-held and opposition-held areas in the norther Hama countryside, according to the Syrian news outlet Enab Baladi. The pro-opposition news outlet added that a second crossing near the town of Qalaat al-Madiq was closed by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).
Syrian pro-government activists revealed that the Russian Millitary Police will turn the crossing into a humanitarian corridor. According to the activists, the procedure is a part of the ongoing preparations of the SAA and its allies to launch a military operation against militants in northern Hama.
Previously, similar humanitarian corridors were established during the battles of Aleppo, Eastern Ghouta and Southern Syria. These corridors allowed hundreds of thousands of civilians to leave the battlefield safely.
The SAA and its allies will likely launch their military operation in the northern and northwestern Hama countryside within a few weeks, unless the radical militants cease their hostile activities.
Compare this to the Lie-Based Vietnam Intervention of the US Government. No wonder the Yanks losed and the Russians / Syrians are winning.
there is nothing to compare between those two, Vietcong had lots of sams from USSR, US lost over 2000 aircraft, Syrian groups didn’t received even a stinger, maybe compare with Afghanistan, when Stingers got in USSR lost over 300 aircraft in 2 years => war over.
Hmmm…. something doesn’t add up. The Russians set specialist troops in the middle of nowhere when the Syrians can do the same thing. Israel is getting ready to pay the Russians to defend them.. oil rich golan hights is the only logical solution where those troops should be.
