The Russian Military’s Sever Group of Forces inflicted more losses on Kiev forces in the direction of Kursk, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on September 29.

In its daily briefing, the ministry said that 21st, 22nd, 115th mechanized brigades, 17th Tank Brigade, 82nd and 95th air assault brigades, 1st National Guard Brigade and 36th Marine Brigade as well as the 103rd and 129th territorial defense brigades took losses near the settlements of Lyubimovka, Daryino, Novy Put, Nikolayevo-Daryino and Plekhovo.

Additionally, the Sever Group of Forces repelled five counter-attacks by Kiev forces close to the settlements of Lyubimovka, Kremyanoye and Plekhovo, according to the ministry, which also said that attempts to attack the settlements of Olgavka and Pogrebki were thwarted.

“As a result, the AFU [Armed Forces of Ukraine] losses amounted to up to 60 troops killed and wounded; two armored fighting vehicles, and a motor vehicle,” the ministry added.

The ministry also announced that the Sever Group of Forces foiled six Ukrainian attempts to break through the Russian border near the settlement of Novy Put.

“The AFU losses amounted to more than 50 troops killed and wounded; a tank, four armored fighting vehicles, and a motor vehicle. Five AFU servicemen surrendered,” the ministry said.

Furthermore, the ministry said that Russian air and artillery strikes hit gatherings of the 22nd, 41st, 61st, 115th mechanized brigades, 17th Tank Brigade, 80th, 95th air assault brigades of the AFU, 1st, 17th National Guard Brigade and 36th Marine Brigade as well as the 103rd, 112th, 116th and 129th territorial defense brigades.

The gatherings were targeted near the settlements of Guyevo, Daryino, Ivashkovsky, Kolmakov, Kruglenkoye, Lyubimovka, Malaya Loknya, Martynovka, Medvezhye, Mirny, Novy Put, Novoya Sorochina, Orlovka, Plekhovo, Pravda, Tolsty Lug and Cherkasskoye Porechnoye.

Other strikes targeted, according to the ministry, the reserves of the 21st, 22nd, 41st, 47th, and 115th mechanized brigades, 80th, 95th air assault brigades and 1st National Guard Brigade as well as the 103rd and 129th territorial defense brigades close to the settlements of Belovody, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Vorozhba, Vishenki, Glukhov, Zhuravka, Kucherovka, Miropolye, Privolye, Pavlovka, Revyakino, Rechki, Sumy, Chervonoprapornoye, Shalygino and Khoten in the Ukrainian region of Sumy, which borders Kursk.

Separately, Russian media released several videos showing some of the drone strikes that hit Kiev forces in the Kursk direction recently.

Kiev forces launched a surprise attack on Kursk last August, relying mainly on foreign mercenaries and Western-made weapons.

Since the start of the attack, at least 56 Russian civilians have been killed and more than 266 others have been wounded. Moreover, the attack displaced more than 144,000 civilians. The fate of some 2,000 others who lived in areas attacked by Kiev forces remain unknown.

The Russian military launched a counter-attack in Kursk earlier this month. So far, nearly a dozen settlements have been reportedly liberated.

According to the Russian MoD, since the start of the battle in Kursk Kiev forces have lost 18,560 troops, 133 tanks, 64 infantry fighting vehicles, 97 armored personnel carriers, 850 armored fighting vehicles, 550 motor vehicles, 146 artillery guns, 32 launchers, including eight American-made HIMARS and six MLRS systems, eight air defense systems, five transport-loading vehicles, 38 electronic warfare stations, nine counter-battery radars, two aerial radars, 18 engineering vehicles, including 11 counter obstacle vehicles, one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle and one armored recovery vehicle.

maybe the russian mod can explain to curious readers why ukrops are present in kursk in the first place, more then month after invasion. and the second question is very easy as well. in the age of satellites, drones and electronic warfare, some russian asshole (gerasimov) overlooked 10.000 ukraine soldiers and hundreds of vehicles gathered on borders , ready to invade kursk. what mod did to punish that particular asshole ? nothing.

and as for as the punishment for that particular asshole gerasimov, take please into account that some 20.000 russian soldiers were killed or captured in kursk as they were caught off guard and 250.000 civilians lost their homes, now destroyed by the brave russian airforce and heavy artillery. i think in normal society it would be a treason. in russia only people like prygozhin are executed. gerasimov is safe as long as is loyal to his tzar majesty putin, regardless how big imbecile he is.

because nothing is more satisfactory that defeat nazis again in kursk, and ukrainians are trapped there and will be defeated

Joseph Day

if they want to keep sending meat into the grinder, let then.

Darius

the first question is simple. the ukie troops are there in kursk, because they need desperately a beating. which is being confirmed daily.

we can bet. will russia liberate kursk before moscow is razed to the ground by long-range nato missiles,? crocus style? and this is not limited toi moscow, you can count st petersburg and any other city up to 1500 km from the frontlines. as you probably know, i am betting that moscow will be razed to the ground before brave russian military will be able to retake kursk..

kary

there is much bigger picture to the waiting game, watch “canadian prepper” he alwas have good analysis that always comes truth -basicaly its about china, iran vs nato

Rat Trap

why does the usa continue to throw away money in the obama/biden rathole of ukraine based on a moronic plan from the british rand corp. globalism is not democracy but a kingdom for the rich at the expense of everyone.

money is never an issue because the puppet masters print it🤫

would have been better to destroy this stuff in the ukraine instead of kursk. can’t blow up the bridges some dual citizen oligarch will cry.

it sounds easier that all the stuff comes to the demolition area by itself, but just use both methods is best. btw i suspect that rf knows everything and nato communications are completely hacked✌️

notice all the empty vehicles. the ukr army people are deeply embedded everywhere with their equipment. ot seems impossible to find all the ukr and seems even the kursk people are warming to the ukr hospitality. its going to take years for kursk to take back the territory.

a solar powered plane, good drone for reconnaissance can be in air for weeks. thousands in air can monitor every single step of enemy and then pinpoint em with some rockets…
