On July 15, Russian sources shared a video of the Russian service members who had been injured in the recent suicide bombing that had targeted a joint Russian-Turkish patrol on the M4 highway in the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib.
The three service members received minor injuries. One of them suffered minor burns to his hands, while the other two had hands and head fractions.

A suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (SVBIED) targeted the Russian-Turkish patrol near the eastern entrance of the town of Arihah on July 14. A terrorist group called “the Khattab al-Shishani Brigades” claimed responsibility for the attack. However, its involvement has yet to be verified.
The injured service members were aboard a BTR-82 armored personnel carrier that shielded them from the SVBIED explosion. The soldiers, who are serving in the ranks of the Russian Military Police, were quickly evacuated by the Turkish military.

The Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria claimed that several Turkish soldiers were also injured in the explosion. Turkey has not yet provided details on this issue.
In response to the attack, the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out a series of pinpoint airstrikes on Greater Idlib. The exact nature of the targets remains unclear.
The terrorist attacks will likely delay the implementation of the Russian-Turkish agreement reached on March 5. However, both sides remain apparently determined to meet their obligations under the agreement, including the reopening of the M4 motorway.

Russian equipment is very robust and practical. Even the average body armor is much better quality and built to handle just about any small arm or even shrapnel.

Good video, thanks! Body armor is really impressive butt what I like the most by far is “friend or foe” ID system which is of crucial importance for the survival in the combat situations. Plenty of soldiers get killed in war situations by “friendly fire”

They did kill few of their own soldiers though ….soldiers who were advancing too fast so they took them for the Iraqi’s..
There is British WW2 soldiers joke that was on the lines of :- ” When the German aircraft attack , we duck, and when the US aircraft attack, we duck with the Germans. ” :)

I have watched the longer video in slow motion and it is also a testament to the cool professionalism, bravery and high levels of training of the Russian military. The IED planted by the CIA headchoppers was at least 100 kilos or more, but the sturdy Russian MRAP and BTR absorbed the shock and the drivers kept excellent convoy discipline and stayed the course. A cowardly Americunt loser would have panicked and killed everyone in the vehicles in front and back. Russians are cool customers with very robust equipment. Luckily, no one was seriously hurt.
It is laughable that Russia has caved in to Turkey, since march the Turkish funded terrorist have attacked on the M4, Turkey was given 30 days to clear the M4 for terrorists, instead Turkey has gone from 14 observation posts to 63 military posts, supplying the terrorists and sharing the posts with the terrorists. While the terrorists attack the Russia base, Turkey attacks the Syrian army, who is ready to start the campaign against the terrorist……but is held back by Russia.
