Russian Warplanes Conduct Another Round Of Strikes On Militant Positions In Hama And Idlib (Videos)

Support SouthFront

On September 7, warplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces conducted a new series of airstrikes on positions of militants in the southern Idlib countryside and the northern Hama countryside. According to the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) linked news agency, Iba’a, the airstrikes hit the towns of Hbit, Kafr Ein, Khan Shaykhun, Kafr Zita, al- Sayyad and Tell A’s.

Syrian opposition activists said that HTS and Jaysh al-Izza shelled several positions of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the northern Hama countryside with heavy rockets in response to the Russian airstrikes. No casualties were reported as a result of the shelling.

Three days ago, Russian warplanes carried out a similar series of airstrikes on several positions of HTS and other radical groups in the northwestern Idlib countryside. According to the Ministry of Defense of Russia, several ammo depots and weapon workshops were destroyed in the airstrikes.

The situation in northwestern Syria may escalate in the few upcoming hours, especially that the SAA have been massing its troops around the opposition-held areas in the region since the beginning of August.

Good. Wahhabi rats deserve some FAB500s to make them smarter.

FlorianGeyer

It seems the Russian pilots are really on the ball Tudor :)

David Parker

I get that impression too. They are as good or better than the IAF and the USAF is my bet. For sure they aren’t pansies and they aren’t women. I would love to see a video of the IAF tangling with the Russian Aerospace Forces. Well, I don’t want anyone killed, but if it were possible I would love to see how the almighty F-15, F-16, F-18, and F-22 (if there is an airworthy F-22) would fare against active duty Russian pilots in MIG-29 or Su-35. (The F-35 would probably shoot itself down if it could even get into the air.) I just wish Russia had been at their present readiness and Putin had been president when the US attacked Yugoslavia.

FlorianGeyer

I agree David. President Putin has achieved what few thought could be achieved. His policies and the loyal Russians who support him have confounded the Zionist attempt to plunder Russia in order to kick the ‘ Barrel of Debt’, that will eventually destroy the USA and vassals, down the Road.

The Russian people ‘own’ the largest country in the world with the largest pool of naturel resources left in the world.

The venal Zionists have long coveted Russia and want it all for themselves to avert the financial chaos and hangman’s ropes they deserve.

Redadmiral

All Quite on the Penultimate Front. That is; until the SAA and its Allies decide to build funeral pyres to light up the night sky announcing Victory over FUKUS headchopping proxies.

David Parker

Quiet

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

good keep hitting their bases, weapons workshops, ammo depots, etc. :))

David Parker

Which also amazes me, how did the terrorists afford all this stuff? I can barely afford some mills, a lathe, and some welders and these terrorists have tanks, artillery, Stingers, really big rockets, etc. That isn’t homemade, it is a lot of money for weapons and I can’t even afford to shoot for fun.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

they were all given to them by turkey, saudis, FUKUS, etc

Tudor Miron

Well… You own tax money were used to arm those rats.

Fred

The US, the UK and Israel continue to supply them and pay them. If the pay were to stop the war would stop and if the regime-changer money was kept out of Syria there would be a lasting peace.

John Whitehot

idk if it’s the amount of weapons they have, or the impotency they show in using them that is more amazing.

Yet imho the most amazing thing remains how Syria and its allies turned the country into the hell and the tomb of wahabist robbers and murderers.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

I bet they weren’t expecting that and thought they could own Syria, well they thought wrong :)))

Nigel Maund

US and Israeli taxpayers funnelled through the offshore clandestine accounts of the CIA, British SIS and the Mossad. Hence the need too for drug funding out of Afghanistan. Now does it all make sense?

Sinbad2

Wars are always about money. The costs are huge, you need deep pockets. The North won the US civil war because they got funding from Rothschild.

Shahna

LOL…. you can’t shoot for fun because all the money you could use is going in taxes and tariffs to fund their babies in Syria.

Sinbad2

Yes, wear them down, let the fighters see there is no hope, it’s surrender or die.

AJ

When Idlib is close to defeat there will be no avoiding the gas claim antics of the white helmets.

Promitheas Apollonious

Now is the time that the fog will be lifted in regards to who is who in this global game and where it stands. We watch many alliances to be born out of necessity, but very fast we come to the point where open declaration as to who is friend and who is enemy will be established.

I see another problem and that is not all populations in europe and is where the russians are counting on, will accept to go to war against russia.

Then what?

Empire's Frontiers

I’m anticipating a similar situation in the US.

For my handful of years on Earth, I’ve often imagined the political agents in America would reinstate the military draft to find a cynical, and largely unfit peasantry unwilling or unable to carry out their orders.

Tommy Jensen

You are both dreaming. The sheeple in US and Europe will love to go to war against Russia and any vulnerable country, as long they are feeded with papermoney from the biggest bully. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/2171f94b120e0bab232a1232f8d1ab02c22ef93a31080217725db18731af38e1.jpg

Empire's Frontiers

I’ve thought this too.

On one hand, they’re credulous slaves pumped to the top with fantasy and lies, existing to be sheered. A matter with which they’re currently compliant and comfortable.

On the other, they’re so inured by leisure and gluttony that I think they’ll make a swipe at control over the farmhouse if it means avoiding foreign deployment.

Or collapse upon one another in some other arrangement before boarding one of Sam and Simon’s boats.

David Parker

sheared

Empire's Frontiers

Good looking out.

Thank you.

Tommy Jensen

Sure. By first sight they will attack each other in anger over why their neighbour escaped doing something. But if you add the fearmongering, the sense of losing money, the sense of violence, they will be easily pursuaded to participate. Just see how many Europeans participated and died in the Afghan heroine build up 2001-2018. We have been there before. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/21d1ae324730b4be35da5517320510387466b32860bc236e6aeecd5e848631b7.jpg

Gary Sellars

Brilliant!

John Whitehot

“The sheeple in US and Europe will love to go to war against Russia”

LoL, as long as you believe it.

David Parker

fed

FlorianGeyer

The yanks would have to make bigger tanks etc to accommodate all the fat draftees.

Empire's Frontiers

The competition for UAV operator slots would become a bloodsport itself.

FlorianGeyer

Sadly that is true and the thought of drone operators doing High Fives as if they were in a Call of Duty tournament is very disturbing.

Sinbad2

Because large numbers of American troops are actually foreign nationals trying to get US citizenship, if the going got tough, they would ? I mean is American citizenship really worth dying for?

FlorianGeyer

um, NO.

David Parker

Don’t bet on it. The ignorance and unwillingness to spend more than a few seconds to discover what is going on in the world here is appalling. I am unable to influence anyone outside my family to look at rt.com, southfront.org, sputnik.com, thesaker.is, etc., alternative news sources that they can use for comparison at least. Almost everyone in the US is still under the influence of the “mainstream media”, the fake news generators. Everyone I talk to has bought into the “Assad is a tyrant dictator and it is right for the US military to kill him.” crap. Everyone I talk to believes the Putin is a warmonger, that the Russians threw the election to Donald Trump, and that we are the knights in shining armor, the only righteous people in the world and must spread “democracy” (and fake money) throughout the world.

Empire's Frontiers

Much like reminiscing with old friends about good times is a special joy that comes with being human, a similar sensation and uplift of the heart accompanies those moments when we see righteous justice distributed among evil doers.

Fine work, artistic even.

David Parker

I would like to know how the Russians find their targets. There is a lot more going on in this war than meets the eye, it is combat beyond visual range, out of range even of heavy machine guns.

Empire's Frontiers

Beyond their ability to monitor activity from the sky, I expect the regular shipments of surrendered jihadis included no small number of intelligence operatives and informants tasked with coordinating deep strikes.

We hear many reports of assassinations and sweeping reprisals.

Too, duplicitous and turk turn up the same google search results. Those observation posts are just that.

David Parker

Speaking of the Turks, what on earth does Erdogan want? Does he have a strategy? It’s as if Erdogan also wants to depose Assad, but exactly what did Assad and the Syrian people ever do to the Turks?

Sinbad2

I think there would be a lot of spies within Idlib. The Iranians are very good at spying, so are the Russians. I think they might be targeting foreign forces in Idlib, notice how the British are foaming at the mouth?

iosongasingsing

They do not know if they are moderate rebels and the Russians are moderately bombarding them for now.

Boerre

To circumvent the problem of a false flag checmical attack, the SAA should focus on capturing the Idlib country side. Once they control this the various armed groups will be isolated in the urban centers with no room to maneuver and can be picked off with limited possibilities to stage a provocation.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

but the urban centers arent they the most populated?

Shahna

Good. Keep it up. Let the powers that gave not a jot for the civilians of Mosul and Raqqa when they themselves bombed them shed their bloody crocodile tears for “their civilians” of Idlib while you and Syria divide them up and rout them out.

… Perhaps when you captured a few you could gift them to their sponsors?

Davki

Naturally without killing civilians, wait, “women and children”… men don’t count anyway.

Attrition47

Does anyone remember that when the Allies were retaking Aleppo and the cities to the south, that SF reporte often referred to “technicals”? Where have they gone, has the tactical situation changed from a fluid to a static battlefield or has Toyota repossessed them?

John Whitehot

technicals remain ubiquitous in the area, at least according to many pics coming from it.

“static battlefield”? C’mon now.

Attrition47

How long has the front line in Idlib stayed still?

John Whitehot

there is no “front”, only an imaginary line dividing areas of control. there will be a “front” when the SAA starts liberating the area.

Attrition47

Aah, that front. :O)

David Parker

Mighty close to houses. I hope they were dead on and got head choppers and not farmers.
