A spokesman for the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation has officially confirmed that Moscow and Riyadh reached an agreement over S-400 air defense systems supplies to Saudi Arabia.

Maria Vorobyova announced on October 9 that Russia will supply Saudi Arabia with S-400 air defense systems, Kornet-EM anti-tank missile systems, TOS-1A heavy flamethrower systems, AGS-30 grenade launchers and Kalashnikov AK-103 assault rifles under the reached agreement.

“We reached an agreement with Saudi Arabia for the supply of S-400 air defense systems, Kornet-EM anti-tank missiles, TOS-1A systems, automatic AGS-30 grenade launchers and Kalashnikov AK-103 assault rifles,” Vorobiyva said, according to the Russian state-run media Sputniknews.

Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud visited Russia and held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin last week. First reports about the alleged S-400 systems deal betwen Russia and Saudi Arabia arrived amid the visit.

At the same time, the US Department of State approved the possible $15 billion sale of THAAD anti-missile defense systems to Saudi Arabia, the move linked by some experts with the Russian-Saudi agreement.

On September 12, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Turkey had signed an agreement with Moscow to buy S-400 air defense systems and had even made an advance payment.

the satanic wahabbis are making a fool of themselves … russia with advice from her other true allies is too smart to fall for their evil plan

Solomon Krupacek

the satanis putin supports the wahabbists.

Russia sells the system to every enemy of Russia, but refuses to sell to any allies such as Syria or Iran or Lebanon or Serbia. Someone at the top in Russia is working against Russian interest in plain view.

They are about the equivalent of the S-300 systems and with a different Missile , where they sell the S-300 domestic to it’s allies cheaper and better so it can be integrated into the Russian systems.

very good saud spending their money on a weapon system they dont need and russia get rich where is the problem?

sauds enemies like Iran yemen iraq syria and lebanons hezbullah would never attack saudi territory via airforce

sauds problem is the lack of legitimacy among the arab people they are not accepted by the sunnis of Hejaz (the western provinces) they are hated in the eastern shia provinces at the gulf

only in the core (najd /central arabia) they are accepted by the wahhabi clans

the downfall of the saudi dictatorship cant be prevented by an advanced air defence system when your worst enemies are your own citizens

its just a question of time when saudi medieval economy will collapse unlike the UAE for example who modernized their economy

the saudis already privatized Saudi Aramco (one of the largest companies in the world) only to finance their war in yemen and support for anti iran terrorism

they are going down in yemen and syria and their main enemies (iranian sponsored militias) do not have any planes to shoot at XD

This is why Russia does not give a fuck about the countries they sell their anti-missile systems

Take the weapons sales. Any money is good money.
