A Russian Orlan-10 reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has crashed in northern Raqqah, according to a photo published by Turkish-backed militants. The incident reportedly happened near the village of Suluk on March 10.
Russian forces deployed in Syria are actively using the Orlan-10 and other types of reconnaissance UAVs in order to monitor the ceasefire regimes established in northeastern and northwestern Syria, as well as to conduct reconnaissance operations during the phases of the active combat in the conflict.
Looks fully intact from the picture.
drones have changed the nature of warfare—this is why they r frequently targeted
Crashed? Looks like it ran out of fuel
Yes. Just no power for the missing windpower turbine..
No big loss, thats a cheap drone.
Thats a relative. Where and when do they get a replacement.
They have produced 1200 sofar. There are probably dozens of it in Syria.
I know. Everything which can fly is there even none has seen Dumbo yet.
They has to import the engines for those many little ones.
Very impressing. SDFs has forbidden any Turkish journalist to be in Syria at all. They only made biased propaganda of the worst kind.
