After deploying large reinforcements in the area, Saudi-led forces have kicked off an advance on positions of Ansar Allah (the Houthis) in the Yemeni province of Bayda.
According to Saudi Arabia’s SPA news agency, Saudi-backed forces regained control of several areas in the north of the province after killing 40 Houthis, state news agency SPA reported. The state run media also claimed that Ansar Allah retreated from mountains in the west of the Al-Bayyad Mountains.
Additionally, seven Ansar Allah fighters were killed and 15 wounded in clashes in Taiz province, according to pro-Saudi sources.
Pro-Ansar Allah sources say that the Saudi advance in Baydha came amid an intense Saudi airstrikes (at least 40) and that the situation in the area remains tense. However, Ansar Allah forces are reportedly developing a counter-attack.
“The state run media also claimed that Ansar Allah retreated from mountains in the west of the Al-Bayyad Mountains.”
Well then… they’re mistaken. Houthis own the mountains. They don’t retreat FROM them – unless it’s to lure a few hundred Saudi mercs up into the Houthi’s hills – where the Saudi mercs will be easily killed or captured.
Agreed.
Wait a couple of days, the Saudi’s will probably be routed again.
Saudis Wahhabis are cowards and chickens…enough said.
Marching off to martyrdom.
