On August 2, the head of the Future Syria’s Party (FSP) in the city of al-Tabqah, Muthanna Abdul Karim, announced that the party will open offices in southwestern governorate of al-Suwayda and in the district of Duma, east of the city of Damascus, in the upcoming days.
“The party will open new branches in southern Syria in the few upcoming days, specifically in the cities of al-Suwayda and Duma,” the Kurdish Hawar News Agency (ANHA) quoted Abdul Karim as saying during a meeting with locals in al-Tabqah.
The FSP, which was founded in late March, is a part of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC), which is the political wing of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
Earlier this month, Ilham Ehmed, a Co-Leader of the SDC, told the Kurdish Rudaw TV that the SDC will open offices in the Syria governorates of Hama, Homs, Lattakia and in the Syrian capital of Damascus. Back then, Ehmed said that such a step is a part of the ongoing efforts to reach a “democratic” solution for the crisis in Syria.
This step was likely agreed upon during the SDC-Damascus talks, which was held on July 26. If the FSP’s effort appears to be successful, it could be expected that other SDF-linked organizations make similar steps thus boosting relations and improving ties between the sides.
What do the SDC and the Syrian Government have in Common? 1. They both believe in a secular (non religious state) 2. They oppose all types of an Islamic State 3. They both have a distaste for Turkey and 4. They want to end the War The Government and the rebels also have a couple of things in common such as A Strong Syrian Government and No Decentralized State.
The government’s current relations with the SDC and the Opposition is complicated nowadays due to western influence. But I do hope that diplomatic efforts will lead to the end of the conflict for good.
Correction number 4 is not true. US want exit and that’s a problem for them for none of the US promised commitments were met. They need wealth and manpower to entrench their quasi state status and further safeguards in diplomatic and military f
Then again. Your not wrong about that.
The arabs and turks did excactly that, faking and deleting history, so most kurds were arabized and/or turkified. Do not forget that Kurds were there long before the arabs and the turks…
So you start believing israkurk .go ahead with them
Remember the US Embassy in Moscow, plus, the satelite Embassy in Benghai, together with the weird US ambassadors, starting with McFaul? Would seriously have the US supported SDF Branch under full observation and subject to regular inspections.
Beware, how do they start regime change? No doubt going back to basics, hoping nobody will notice they lost the war.
CONTROL THE MEDIA
Use those foundations established in step 1 to consistently gain control of media companies and media personalities. That provides influence on the general population and helps to frame the necessary narratives in the future. The primary objective of controlling the media is to be able to FORMULATE AND PROVIDE NARRATIVES.
WEAKENING THE STATE
In this process the objective is not so much to weaken the government but rather to weaken the structures of government. The goal of this process is to make people doubt the credibility of government structures. This tends to include doubt about the credibility of the application of the law, the credibility of the rulers, and the credibility of the electoral process.
DEVELOP AND CAUSE AN ELECTORAL CRISIS
The cause or atmosphere of the crisis does not matter. All that matters is that the core of democracy, the credibility of the voting process, be questioned to the point of anger and frustration.
ORGANIZE MASS PROTESTS AND MANIFESTATIONS
An electoral crisis leads directly to protests that increase until finally the government responds with force and with a change in the state of affairs.
